Orca watching
One of the most popular attractions in Vancouver's wilderness are its killer whales. Vancouver Nature Adventures runs an excellent half-day whale watching safari that has an 85 percent chance of Orca sightings. You will also be witness to other marine animals such as sea lions and Minke whales. To experience this you don't really have to rough it all, you will be taken out on the water in boat that gives you covered seating, lunch on board and even a washroom. This trip runs seasonally from April to October. There must be a minimum of two adults for the trip to run. Kayaking
Another popular adventure offered is the Vancouver Wilderness Paddle. This is an easy going way for everyone to see some of the Vancouver areas wonderful wilderness. The trip is open to all, whether you have experience or not. You will be taken by an experienced and trained guide through calm waters, where you will have a chance to see bald eagles, seals and other wildlife. For lunch you will stop on an uninhabited island to have a barbeque. Prices before tax in Canadian dollars are 149.0 for adults and 75.00 for children aged 4 to 12.
